We go Sea Kayaking in Uvita Costa Rica with the Uvita Kayak Club and are joined by a pod of friendly Dolphins that merge with our group of paddlers on our trip from Playa Ballena to Playa Arco. The Dolphins swim under and around our Kayaks and enjoy the interaction with us humans, even photo bombing our group Photo.

We land on the shores of Playa Arco to explore the sea cave there and cool off in a tiny waterfall with cool fresh water. We explore safety procedures and paddling Tips from out guide Victor Hugo of Uvita Adventure Tour and are challenged with the task of paddling out through the breakers and riding the waves back in again. Join us in this once in a life time experience here in the Souther Zone of Costa Rica, off the shores of Marino Ballena National Park.

My name is Ed and I sold my house, quit my job as a Rich Media Editor with Gracenote back in the USA and moved to Uvita Costa Rica in April of 2021, in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic. Moving to a new country by yourself can be an intimidating endeavor, but with the right mindset and a little luck, life has been very good for me here.
