Crocodiles Snakes & Turtles at Reptailandia wildlife park Costa Rica

Reptilandia Wildlife park The destination is Reptilandia near Dominical Costa Rica to get close up and personal with some very interesting creatures. We see snakes, crocodiles, turtles, Komodo dragons and many other varieties of Lizards. The facility has recently been renovated after an extended closure and the improvements are nothing short of fantastic. The all new enclosures are home to scores of different variety of snakes, including the Fer-de-lance (Bothrops asper), one of the deadliest snakes in Costa Rica. The self guided tour through enclosures and aquariums is an educational experience as well as just plain fun. We visit one of the very special residents of the animal parl, a female crocodile that played fertilized eggs with never having been exposed to any other crocodiles, a kind of Crocodile version of the Immaculate Conception . One of the highlights of the video is the Crocodile eating it’s prey in slow motion! The facility itself is landscaped beautifully with local botanical specimens and plenty of benches to rest. Just 25 minutes from Uvita Costa Rica this reptile park is a tourist desination wildlife enthusiast are finding a fun addition to their Costa Rica adventures.
